Storytelling

Little Did’s most recent project focuses less on high production value and more on bringing alive stories from around the world with the power of imagination. Using simple, interactive storytelling and live musical accompaniment on a variety of exciting noisemakers, Luke and Sean premiered the project over several weekends in October 2025 at the New York Aquarium’s “Ascarium” event. We presented two 10-minute stories for this spooky aquatic-themed event, but are eager to expand this repertoire and potentially pair it with more puppetry and interactive workshops to create a modular experience that can be tailored to your event’s needs. See below for excerpts from “Colapesce” and “Hanuman and Suvannamaccha.”

A short excerpt from “Colapesce,” a Sicilian folk tale told by Sean Devare and accompanied by Luke Santy at the “Ascarium” event at New York Aquarium. Sean spent time in Sicily studying this story and creating a full-length audio adventure with Trinacria Theatre Company. You can check it out here or wherever you get your podcasts.

A short excerpt from “Hanuman and Suvannamaccha,” itself an excerpt from the Indian epic “Ramayana.” Luke and Sean have both spent time in India and beyond studying this story while researching for Little Did Productions’ “A Ramayana,” which you can learn more about below.
